“Aspire to inspire before you expire”

In a society filled with the obsession for charismatic abilities, or superficial talent we often bypass the important role that inspiration plays in one’s life. We are so focused on what a person can bring to the table that we rarely ever measure the ways in which the content of what they bring can inspire those around them. Despite the different opinions and influences we absorb, it’s important to carefully analyze where we turn to for our inspiration. Whether we believe this or not, our everyday life from the way we act, to what we say, our dreams, even the way we present ourselves is shaped by whatever inspires us. In fact, not only does the inspiration we draw from influence our lives, but the impact that it has on us has the power to also affect those who we in return inspire. It’s quite the chain reaction; and a powerful one at that.

Have you ever spent time around certain people whom after having a brief conversation with, you walk away feeling as though you could rule the world? That might sound a bit dramatic, regardless their words and character leave you so empowered that nothing seems impossible. All of a sudden, you are filled with boldness and feel revived as though nothing in the world can stop you. You see, inspiration has the ability to dynamically change the thought process of an individual’s mind. It’s a powerful tool that transforms the way we perceive our own capabilities, and potential.

A while back I came across a quote by Steve Maraboli that read, “When you are living the best version of yourself, you inspire others to live the best versions of themselves”. Although most would dismiss that as common sense, it really got me thinking. What is that core substance that drives us to live the best version of ourselves? Because whatever you are inspired by to live your life will not only change the way you perceive your own capabilities and live your life, but it will also determine the quality of what you produce to inspire those around you.

So, where does your inspiration come from? What inspires your dreams, your words, your actions, and your overall life? What is the engine that drives you to be an inspiration to others? This is what ‘inspired by Him’ is about. After years of prayer, and personal encouragement received from many of you, God has graciously opened the door for me to use this platform as a way to communicate my inspiration with you. These are not “diary entries”, or “random thoughts”. Rather, words from my heart that are influenced by the greatest inspiration in my life.

My ultimate goal for this platform is that it becomes a space where we can continue to be strengthened, challenged and encouraged in our everyday lives. Most importantly, my hope as you read each post is to challenge and inspire you, to live the best version of yourself.

Enjoy.

God Bless!

Certainly, an inspiring post. Actually, we are created to live to be at our best in every way possible. Inspiring others is a skill and an art of its own, however, it requires a person to possess a clear mind and kind heart to become an inspiration. Additionally, a lot of effort by passing through hardships in life, transforms a person into a gem, to become an inspirational personality all those around you or beyond.
Your blog and your posts are extremely encouraging, especially in this era when people are losing hopes, grasping negativity from different mediums. Well done! keep up the great effort of inspiring.
